Clyde E. Duncan, Jr. Returns to the Ivy League

Clyde E. Duncan, Jr., Ph.D., Internship Coordinator for the School of Communication at Texas Southern University, will travel to New York, New York to serve for the fourth time as Public Address (P.A.) Announcer for the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted this year by Columbia University. Duncan, Jr. served as P.A. Announcer previously when the Ivy League Championships were held at Harvard University (twice) and Cornell University.

The “elite eight” institutions, Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University, Dartmouth University, Brown University, Cornell University, Columbia University, and the University of Pennsylvania will compete in conference competition Saturday and Sunday, February 25 and 26, 2017.

Duncan, Jr. is widely recognized as the official voice of the Texas Southern University (TSU) Relays…providing insight and excitement to the fifth largest track and field meet in the country since 1999. Duncan, Jr. has also served as the P.A. Announcer for the American Track League, NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, Big-12 Conference Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Championships, SWAC Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Conference-USA Cross Country/Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, AAU Indoor National Track and Field Championships, Southwest Preparatory Conference Track and Field Championships, the University of Houston, Rice University, Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas A&M University, Sam Houston State University, Texas State University, the Awty International School, the John Cooper School, TAPPS District and Regional Track and Field Championships, UIL High School Regional Track and Field Championships and several High School and Youth track and field competitions.
